Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineering Intern:

  • Participate in site investigations and field assessments;
  • Collect field data and measurements;
  • Assist with equipment inspections and evaluations;
  • Support the selection and integration of mechanical equipment;
  • Extract and interpret information from engineering drawings and technical documents;
  • Assist in preparing procurement packages and cost estimates;
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation.

Responsibilities for the Piping Engineering Intern (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering):

The Piping team is involved in the design and analysis of piping systems and associated equipment, including pumps, compressors, tanks, heat exchangers, and filtration systems. By applying principles of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, the team is responsible for:

  • Assisting with the sizing and design of piping systems and related equipment;
  • Participating in site investigations and data collection;
  • Performing hydraulic and pressure drop calculations;
  • Supporting piping stress analyses;
  • Assisting with piping modifications and replacement projects;
  • Participating in project planning, estimating, scheduling, and proposal preparation;
  • Assisting with the development of procurement packages and construction specifications.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and resourcefulness;
  • Interest in consulting engineering and industrial projects;
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn;
  • English proficiency, both written and verbal.
