Student - Mfg (Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining)

We are looking for a talented School to Work – Manufacturing (Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining) person to join our 1st Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

*This position will be on-site in Fletcher, NC.
This is an onsite role to assist the Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems plant Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining team with a variety of projects, including bracket welding housings, seam welding housings, and weld repair.

Education:
•    For the Fletcher SHOP STW program, we request that current students attend BlueRidge Community College and are enrolled in a Welding or related program.
•    This is an onsite position. Work schedule can vary as needed to accommodate the student's regular school schedule. 
 

Qualifications

Experience
•    Request that successful candidate work a routine schedule up to the STW limit of up to 40 hours per week. There is room for flexibility when needed.
•    Successful applicant will be working onsite 1st shift hours supporting Manufacturing Housing Fabrication Welding and Machining at the CDBS in Fletcher, NC.

Hourly Rate:  $20.00/hr
