The intern is to observe and assess the applicability of AGV and AMR for APDC logistic operation. For the first 6 months, the intern is to gain familiarity with warehousing processes (at DSV Changi North and Nanospace) and the nature of each SKU. The second half of the internship is to analyze and propose which of the automated MHE to implement for upgrading to intelligent warehouse, for instance, comparison on performance capability and cost analysis including any retrofit necessary to existing facility.  

Desired Skills Required:

Control systems: Kinematics & Dynamics, Trajectory Tracking & Path Following, Motor & Servo Control and Safety Systems.

Operation Process: Receiving, Put-Away (Storage), Picking (Retrieval), Packing and Outbound Shipment. Not compulsory to equip, as intern will be exposed during OJT.
