About The Company
Custom Medical Device Manufacturer / FDA Registered / ISO 13485:2003 Certified Rose Medical (formerly Rose Technologies) has the expertise to meet your entire medical device design, manufacturing, and assembly needs. Whether you need short-term pilot runs or long-term production in one of our class 7 (10,000) clean rooms we will partner with you to design the manufacturability specifications, build, and automate the production of your product. The Rose Medical Device Product Engineers can provide single piece prototypes or a complete turnkey package for your new product. Rose Medical has added the equipment and quality systems necessary to produce and package medical devices for sterilization. We expanded our ISO certification to include assembly and packaging and re-packaging of both sterile and non-sterile devices. Our current customers are excited about this and we look forward to working with new customers on start-to-finish medical device production. We want to become your trusted partner and Single Source Provider for your Medical Devices. We are fun to work with and as engineers, we know your language.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day brings new opportunities to learn, collaborate, and solve real engineering challenges. As an Engineering Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Get hands-on with engineering projects! Support our Project Engineering team with new product development and improvements to existing manufacturing processes.
  • Turn data into solutions. Collect and analyze data to help identify opportunities for process improvements and support engineering decisions.
  • Bring ideas to life. Participate in early prototype builds and production runs, gaining firsthand experience with how medical devices move from concept to manufacturing.
  • Learn the ins and outs of manufacturing. Assist with developing and maintaining process and tooling documentation.
  • Put your problem-solving skills to work. Support basic process validation activities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals. Work alongside our engineering and manufacturing teams, ask questions, share ideas, and learn from people who love what they do.
  • Explore new challenges. Take on additional projects and responsibilities that help you develop your skills and gain valuable experience.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, preferably with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A natural problem-solver who enjoys asking questions, analyzing information, and finding creative solutions.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel, with an interest in developing additional technical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • A team player who communicates effectively, welcomes feedback, and enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to balance multiple projects and priorities.
  • Adaptable and excited to learn new things in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
