Job Description

Job Description: SOCOTEC has openings for Construction Materials Testing Field and Lab Assistant Interns in Wenatchee and Redmond, WA. The successful candidate will work alongside field and laboratory technicians in the performance of construction materials field and lab testing and construction observation. Duties may also include assisting geotechnical engineers and project managers with any other aspects of field operations needed.

      Qualifications

      • Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering, Geology, or Construction-related degree or certificate program

      • Strong communication skills

      • Able to perform a wide range of physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment on occasion

      • Valid driver's license and good driving record is required

      Additional Information

      No housing assistance available; must live within commuting distance of our Wenatchee or Redmond, WA office for the duration of the internship.

      OPT or CPT status is acceptable for an internship, but a full-time position will not be available following the completion of the internship if you will require any type of visa sponsorship in the future
