About the Role

Internship – Headquarters Joint Logistics Support Group – Plans Branch (HQ JLSG Plans)

Stipend: € 1477.30 (2026 rate) per month (taxable)

 

Description:

As an intern in the Plans Branch (HQ JLSG Plans) at HQ JLSG Brunssum, you will be required to provide assistance in enhancing the digital management of the end-to-end supply chain.

About the internship:  

During this 6-month programme starting 30 August 2027 until 25 February 2028, you will join the Plans Branch HQ JLSG. The Plans Branch HQ JLSG is looking for an intern to contribute to tactical logistical plans development, doctrine revision processes and provision of administrative and coordinative support to daily work stands to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the HQ. 

The ideal candidate must:

     1)   Be enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Logistic Management (with a focus on transport and/or supply chain        management);

     2)   Have an understanding of software tools specifically designed for planning purposes;

     3)   Possess knowledge of international organisations including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization;

     4)   Be able to effectively plan and organize the working time;

     5)   Have the ability to work under pressure. 

In addition, we are looking for candidates having the following desirable skills: 

 1)     Strong computer skills (e.g. ECDL) including use of Microsoft Office package;

 2)     be dynamic, self-motivated and personable with an ability to work in a team environment with people from diverse backgrounds.

 

Stipend:

         1)   You will be compensated at a fixed taxable rate of € 1477.30 (2026 rates), per month based on 37.5 hours internship work hours per               week.

         2)   We will also compensate you for travel costs to/from university to HQ JFC Brunssum (within set cap rates).

         3)   Interns will be entitled to 2 days of leave for each full month (of 37.5 hrs a week) of internship.
