About the Role

Position Summary

The Hospitality Services Intern supports the execution of premium hospitality operations within an elevated VIP club environment. This position serves as an on-site hospitality concierge and operational point of contact, helping ensure an exceptional guest experience while coordinating food and beverage service, supporting bartenders and service staff, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining communication between Hospitality Services and the concessionaire.

Internship is expected to start February 15, 2027 and end on March 21, 2027.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary hospitality concierge and on-site point of contact for guests within the assigned VIP club or premium hospitality space.
  • Monitor the overall guest experience and proactively identify opportunities to improve service, presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
  • Provide front-line guest recovery and conflict resolution, addressing concerns professionally and escalating significant issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with the operational oversight of bartenders, servers, and other assigned service personnel, helping ensure proper coverage, presentation, and adherence to service expectations.
  • Monitor food and beverage operations, including product availability, presentation, service levels, replenishment, and overall quality.
  • Serve as a liaison between Hospitality Services, Aramark, Legends Global, Ticketing, and Security to communicate operational needs and resolve service issues.
  • Conduct routine walkthroughs of the VIP club before, during, and following events to identify operational concerns and maintain established hospitality standards.
  • Assist with pre-event preparation, including setup verification, operational readiness, service-area organization, and coordination with food and beverage personnel.
  • Monitor guest traffic and service demand and communicate needs to appropriate staff to support efficient service.
  • Assist with identifying and documenting operational issues, guest feedback, service opportunities, and post-event observations.
  • Support special requests and VIP hospitality needs while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and a guest-first approach.
  • Perform additional Hospitality Services duties and event-related projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in: 
    • Hospitality Management
    • Hotel & Restaurant Management
    • Event Management
    • Sports Management
    • Business Administration
    • Tourism
    • Food & Beverage Management
    • or a related field
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, catering, concessions, premium seating, customer service, or live events is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Position requires working in a fast-paced live-event environment.
  • Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Requires availability for event-based scheduling, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with large numbers of guests and responding quickly to changing operational conditions.
  • Responsibilities may require movement between front-of-house guest areas and back-of-house food and beverage/service areas.
