Job Description

Ready to make an impact on globally renowned brands like Gillette, Pampers, Head & Shoulders and Oral-B that millions of consumers can’t live without? Want to intern at a company consistently recognised as one of the UK’s leading graduate employers?

Then apply for an internship in Finance and Accounting at Procter & Gamble! Our Finance team do real, varied projects that make a genuine impact across both commercial and technical finance. Finance spans the entire Company – and you will be the CFO of your project area from Day 1. You could be working multifunctionally to define and execute a brand’s commercial strategy, partnering our sales team to create great plans to take to our customers, identifying optimisation opportunities in our supply chain, or working on accounting projects within our cutting-edge financial shared services organisation. There’s real ownership and learning from the outset, and your impact will be felt across the company.

What To Expect:

During your 10-week summer internship you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in finance with P&G involves, and if it is right for you. You will be working on live business projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. Previous finance internship projects cover topics including defining the finance strategy for one of our products or identifying key pockets of profitable growth where we could grow our brands in the market.

Sounds challenging? Don’t worry – we don’t expect you to know how to do this, we can teach you. Each intern receives a customized learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring and training as they deliver their work. If you are looking for an exciting and challenging experience, have a passion for winning, strong leadership credentials and an interest in pursuing a career at P&G – this internship is for you!

We have roles based in our UK Head Office in Weybridge, Surrey which is an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo and Clapham Junction and a free shuttle service from the station to the office, and our London Manufacturing Plant site which allows easy access to the city while being situated in a well-connected industrial hub. Chafford Hundred and Grays mainline stations (C2C train line) are nearest to the Plant site besides several bus routes.

What You Will Gain:

  • Responsibilities and Real Work from Day 1: You will be given specific projects and responsibilities working on real and live business challenges, just like a true P&Ger.
  • Continuous training & coaching: You will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: The monthly salary for this summer internship is £2,625. • Full Time Role: Successful interns have the potential to secure a full-time position with P&G after graduation. As a 'build from within' company, our people start at entry level and progress through the organization. When we make a job offer, it’s with the expectation that you will grow into one of our future leaders, and to help you get there, you will work closely with skilled P&G veterans for mentoring and coaching at every step.
