RESG oversees the planning, design, and construction activities for the organization’s primary facility in Cleveland, as well as branch locations in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and soon Columbus.

As an intern, you will gain meaningful, hands‑on experience supporting a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals. This role provides exposure to digital modeling, plan documentation, 3D scanning, and construction project support—offering a practical understanding of how facility planning and management progress from initial concept through final delivery.

Intern Duties:

  • Support RESG’s design and facility management across multiple projects, contributing to planning and documentation activities in alignment with Bank standards.
  • Collect scan updates of 3D point‑cloud scan data using the Bank’s handheld scanner, oversee hosting platform, and provide training to users.
  • Assist the construction management team from preconstruction and coordination, through active construction oversight, to final close‑out.
  • Maintain and update electronic files and documentation to ensure accurate and current space‑related information.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to gain exposure to the full range of RESG project activities.

Requirements for Internships:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Architecture or Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Should have at least one semester left to complete in school.
  • Strong computer/technical skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access (or familiarity with other data access tools).
  • Autodesk Revit is required.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work both in a group setting and on an individual basis.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

What We Offer:

  • Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience and insights into the operations field through real-world projects and challenges.
  • Mentorship: Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals who are committed to your development.
  • Networking Opportunities: Build connections within the industry and with fellow interns and employees.
  • Professional Development: Participate in workshops, training sessions, and seminars designed to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Our interns will work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio location. We’re looking for collaborative and innovative full-time students entering their sophomore year or beyond. Our student interns work 40 hours per week for the duration of a 10- to 12-week internship that starts as early as June and ends as late as September, depending on student schedules and business needs. The expected starting salary range for this position is between $20.50 and $26.00 hourly.
