About the Role

Premier Health is providing a comprehensive Capstone experience combining the student experience with the RN Residency program student portion.  It is specifically designed for the last semester nursing student to develop advanced skills to better prepare them for their nursing career with Premier Health. This program requires a commitment from the organization to the Capstone student and vice versa (see Qualification section below).

Capstone students selected to participate in this program are expected to accept employment with Premier after the completion of their Capstone, graduation, and Ohio RN licensure. The program is correlated to the specific unit of future hire (i.e. A student is offered and accepts placement for his/her Capstone project in the a particular department. The RN Residency student portion of the program will be specific in developing skills and abilities for that department).

Education: Must be entering into the last semester of the nursing program at a partner school: Wright State University, Edison, Miami University, or Cedarville University

Licensure: Eligibility to sit for the Ohio RN licensure within 8 months of acceptance into the Capstone placement.

Certification: Current BLS certification is required.
