Position Overview

Join a collaborative engineering team and gain practical experience in the development of power, control, and automation solutions for major energy and industrial projects. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support Topside engineering activities across design development, technical documentation, and project coordination while working alongside experienced engineers in a multidisciplinary EPCI(O) environment.

This role provides hands-on exposure to electrical system design, power distribution, engineering deliverables, vendor coordination, and project execution processes. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects while developing a solid understanding of how electrical engineering contributes to the successful delivery of large-scale EPCI(O) and FPSO projects. This internship will take place from January to May 2027.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in the preparation and update of electrical engineering documents such as single line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, equipment lists, and supporting technical documents.
  • Support engineers in reviewing vendor documents, engineering calculations, and design drawings for completeness and consistency.
  • Coordinate with design and drafting teams to ensure engineering inputs are accurately incorporated into engineering deliverables.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions, and assist in tracking follow-up actions.
  • Support the review of electrical deliverables for compliance with project specifications, standards, and internal procedures.
  • Assist with engineering data compilation, document management, and maintenance of project records.
  • Support the resolution of routine technical queries and follow up on engineering actions under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Assist in monitoring engineering deliverable schedules and project progress.
  • Develop knowledge of electrical systems, engineering workflows, industry standards, and EPCI(O) project execution processes.

Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and power distribution systems.
  • Interest in energy, offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial plant projects is preferred.
