About the Role

About this Position

Please only apply if you are currently studying in the Netherlands or if you graduated no more than 3 months before the internship start date. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered. 

What you´ll do

  • Support the successful delivery of investment and engineering projects in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Work alongside experienced project managers and engineers on projects from planning through execution and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, SHE, Procurement, and external suppliers.
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables while ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, presentations, reports, and project status updates.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Henkel's Project Management Framework and develop practical project management and stakeholder management skills.

What makes you a good fit

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in project management, engineering, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Initial experience gained through internships, academic projects, student associations, or relevant extracurricular activities.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools is considered a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Available to start your internship in October or November 2026 and commit to the full internship duration.
