Cherokee is looking for a Pool Snack Bar Manager who is interested in learning about Food and Beverage in a Premium club environment. Additionally, they will ensure that all Cherokee members and guests are received immediately and courteously upon arrival. The right candidates will take pride in delivering fabulous and superior experiences!  


Job Summary: 

 The Pool Snack Bar (PSB) Manager, along with the Supervisor, is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the Town Club's Pool Snack Bar. This position is highly visible to members and guests, and reports to the Manager in Development (MID). The PSB Manager keeps the snack bar functioning effectively and is essential to maintaining the satisfaction of members and guests. 


Essential Functions of the job:

  • Supervise Pool Snack Bar Interns and Attendants to ensure member satisfaction and a sense of urgency at all times. 
  • Prepare requisitions for food and supplies. 
  • Maintain a clean and stocked snack bar and equipment. 
  • Make schedules, assist with payroll, and complete administrative work. 
  • Participate in leadership development meetings. 

Requirements

  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to anticipate members' needs. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Note: Shifts for this internship position vary. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  


Education and Experience required: 

  • Current college student (senior year preferred) enrolled in a hospitality program, or recently graduated. 
  • Previous bar experience or food and beverage knowledge. 
  • Previous experience at a private or country club is preferred. 

Reports to: Manager in Development 

Classification: Non-exempt
