About the Role

Job Description

Purpose of the role

The Summer Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Markets Trading business, supporting trading activities, market analysis, and operational processes. The role offers exposure to financial markets, trading products, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle, while working closely with traders and key support functions.

 

Accountabilities

  • Monitor financial markets, economic developments, and relevant market events to support trading activities and decision making.
  • Assist the Trading Desk with market research, data analysis, and day-to-day business activities.
  • Support the analysis of financial products, valuation methodologies, and market scenarios.
  • Assist in the preparation of market updates, client materials, and transaction-related information.
  • Contribute to business initiatives and project work aimed at improving processes, reporting, or market analysis capabilities.
  • Support trade lifecycle activities, including trade booking, transaction processing, and data validation.
  • Assist in the review and resolution of trade amendments, booking discrepancies, and operational exceptions.
  • Review broker confirmations and support trade reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform end-of-day controls and validation checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, and other support functions to gain exposure to the broader Markets business.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Education

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Fluent English and Spanish preferred.

Who we're looking for

To be considered for this program, you must be pursuing an undergraduate degree and have a target graduation date within one year of the conclusion of this internship.

You'll have an interest in business and finance, a good work ethic and be keen to learn and develop a technical skill set.


Working in Mexico

You will be working at Torre Mayor in Mexico City, located in Avenida Paseo de la Reforma 505.
