Product Marketing Graphic Design Intern - Summer 2027
Program Duration: End of May - Early August
Location: Pella, IA (On-site)
Pella Corporation is seeking a motivated student for our Product Marketing Graphic Design Internship in Pella, Iowa.
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting product marketing initiatives through the design and maintenance of materials across a variety of product touchpoints, both online and offline. Working alongside experienced marketing and design professionals, you'll contribute to projects that help bring complex product information to market in a clear, engaging, and visually compelling way.
Interns collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Architectural Solutions, and Technical Publications teams while developing creative, technical, and professional skills in a real-world business environment.

Responsibilities
As a Product Marketing Graphic Design Intern, you will support marketing and product communication initiatives through design, content development, and project coordination.
Responsibilities are similar to what we expect of entry-level design professionals and provide opportunities to gain experience working on real business projects and cross-functional initiatives.
As a Product Marketing Graphic Design Intern, you may:
- Create, update, and maintain designs and content across multiple print and digital mediums
- Refine existing materials and support the development of new creative concepts
- Prepare photography, renderings, graphics, charts, and other visual assets for publication
- Ensure materials align with Pella's brand standards and product guidelines
- Support project timelines, review cycles, and production schedules to meet deadlines
- Apply design principles such as layout, typography, photography, and visual hierarchy to communicate information effectively
- Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Architectural Solutions, and Technical Publications teams on business initiatives
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and team priorities.
Additional Information
- Full-time internship assignment (May-August 2027)
- Assigned manager and project support throughout the internship
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Work performed primarily in an office environment
- Exposure to cross-functional teams throughout the organization

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Strong academic standing
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to apply design principles including typography, layout, photography, charts, and visual hierarchy
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with RoboHead or similar project management tools is helpful
Compensation: The starting pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is established through Pella Corporation’s internship program. Eligible participants may receive transition assistance in accordance with company policies and program guidelines.
