AECOM has a long-established track record supporting the Environment Agency, local authorities, water companies and other public sector organisations across flood risk management, coastal resilience, environmental planning, business case development and multidisciplinary engineering services.

Potential opportunities may support flood risk, coastal resilience and environmental infrastructure programmes across England & Wales and beyond, including strategy development, appraisal, outline design, business case development and multidisciplinary technical advisory services. 

Projects could range from catchment-scale studies and flood alleviation schemes through to coastal adaptation, environmental enhancement, asset resilience and infrastructure investment programmes.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? 

Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Knowledge and experience of the Flood & Coastal Risk Management sector 

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as civil engineering, environmental science, geography, coastal engineering, hydrology, project management or a related subject, and/or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Relevant experience within a consultancy, contractor, public sector organisation, local authority, regulator or infrastructure delivery environment.
