About the Role

As a Software Engineering, Security & Operations Co-op, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting modern software delivery, application security, and engineering excellence across our global technology organization. Working alongside software engineers, platform engineers, and security professionals, you'll help application teams improve deployment frequency, reduce technology risk, and enhance the overall developer experience.


You'll gain exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), learning how enterprise applications are designed, built, secured, tested, and deployed. This role provides hands-on experience with software engineering, automation, release management, cloud technologies, application security, and AI-enabled development tools that improve software quality, security, and delivery outcomes.


You'll receive guidance from experienced technical leaders and gain exposure to industry-leading technologies including GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Azure, SonarQube, Snyk, New Relic, and enterprise development platforms.


We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Boston, Massachusetts, USA office for a 6-month co-op, running from January 5th – June 24th, 2027. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.


Position Responsibilities

  • Support software delivery and deployment processes
  • Assist with release readiness and production implementations
  • Contribute to automation initiatives that improve developer productivity
  • Support application security and vulnerability remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and security teams
  • Participate in monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
  • Analyze delivery metrics and identify opportunities to improve performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Experience with programming, scripting, or automation through coursework, projects, or previous internships
  • Strong interest in software engineering, cloud technologies, application security, or software delivery
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technology environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Understanding of software deployment, automation, or CI/CD concepts
  • Exposure to application security or secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with Git or GitHub

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be prorated based on the length of the work term.
