About the Role

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Fleet Services summer internship opening at our headquarters in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with industry professionals on key Fleet Services initiatives focused on program development, revenue growth, profitability, and operational improvement. Projects will provide exposure to fleet and dealer performance, business analytics, and cross-functional program execution.

  • Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
  • Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Analyze fleet and dealer performance to identify revenue growth and margin improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate sales mix, pricing, and program performance to understand business impacts
  • Develop and improve Tableau dashboards and reporting tools
  • Coordinate with Fleet Services, Pricing, and cross-functional teams on key initiatives 
  • Identify opportunities to improve Fleet Services processes, tools, and program execution

 

Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Prepare fleet-specific reporting and ad hoc analysis
  • Maintain dealer-facing Fleet Services information and resources
  • Coordinate fleet program integrations and ongoing maintenance
  • Contribute to additional Fleet Services initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • A strong career interest in Sales and Marketing
  • Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivation and energetic personality
  • Team-oriented
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong PC Skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Education

  • Internship for students enrolled in college
  • Junior or senior standing preferred

Wage Scale or Salary Range

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

  • Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
  • Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
  • Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
