In the role of CAD Water Intern, we'll count on you to: 
 
  • Create technical drawings: Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using Autocad Civil 3D to produce construction drawings
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, EITs, project managers and other CAD users to interpret and develop engineering concepts and designs
  • Design review and revision: Update and correct drawings based on redlines, mark-ups, feedback, scope and/or design changes
  • Communicate: ask questions, effectively share ideas, convey information to other team members 
  • Perform other duties as needed


 

Preferred Qualifications 
 
  • 1 year completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • Currently enrolled in a CAD degree or certificate program
  • Ability to learn and understand engineering concepts and design
  • Ability to review and produce accurate drawings, dimensions, and specifications while adhering to project standards, design criteria, and detailed instructions
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills


Required Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
