Our investment philosophy is simple: we seek to buy good businesses at low prices. Our Research Associate internship offers the opportunity to work closely with our Investment Team on a day-to-day basis, focused on building financial models, conducting investment research and analysis, and supporting strategic discussions. Interns will assist our Global Industry Analysts in developing potential new investment ideas as well as maintaining coverage of our existing portfolio holdings.

This position also offers excellent mentorship opportunities with our Senior Research Team, providing the guidance and expertise needed to develop the skills required to become a key contributor within our team and wider organization.

Located in New York, this role offers four days in-office and the option to work remotely or in-office on Fridays, highlighting Pzena’s collaborative work environment. We are open to hiring 1 or 2 Summer Interns.

Structure: 

10-week summer internship from June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027
Interns will work closely with 2 to 3 senior members of our investment team, supporting them on day-to-day tasks.
The position is on-site at our New York offices on 320 Park Avenue from Monday – Thursday. Interns will have the option to be in the office or work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Build and maintain industry and company financial models and analyses as required.
Assist in conducting in-depth research on potential investments, including leveraging public filings and participating in meetings with sell-side analysts, industry experts, and investor relations representatives to build a detailed long-term earnings model.
Prepare information to support meetings with senior management to discuss the company’s business model and strategy.
Perform industry analysis, including studying business cycles and competitors.

Qualifications:

Current Bachelor’s Degree student – expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
On-site in New York City Summer 2027 (no relocation is offered at this time).
Must commit to the entirety of the internship.
We are open to all majors and backgrounds; however, we do require a demonstrated academic background in both quantitative and qualitative skill sets.
