About the Role

THE DAY TO DAY:

 

Support the Information Systems team with operational activities, technology initiatives, and project-based assignments while gaining broad exposure to how enterprise technology enables a global manufacturing organization. This internship provides hands-on experience across Infrastructure Operations, Digital Workplace, ERP, Enterprise Applications, data analytics, automation, and digital transformation.

 

  • Assist with documentation, process mapping, technology research, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Support data analysis, reporting, and the development of actionable insights for technical and business teams.

  • Participate in application and ERP testing, issue documentation, process improvement, and user adoption activities.

  • Help develop user guides, training materials, and other resources that support effective use of enterprise technologies.

  • Assist with user support and operational work involving Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

  • Explore workflow automation, artificial intelligence enablement, and other opportunities to improve efficiency and the employee experience.

  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with Information Systems professionals and business stakeholders.

  • Contribute to assigned projects and present recommendations or deliverables at the conclusion of the internship.

  • Complete other Information Systems projects and duties based on business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of information technology concepts through completed coursework, projects, or relevant experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an interest in enterprise technologies, applications, data, automation, or digital transformation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document work and present findings.

  • Ability to learn new technologies, manage assigned priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when working with business and technology information.

  • Prior technical work experience is not required; curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn are essential.
