The MRO Sales Support Summer Intern will support the MRO Sales team by assisting with customer research, sales analytics, account management activities, and business development initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial sales, customer relationship management, market analysis, and sales operations while contributing to strategic projects that support business growth.

As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

  • Networking Events – Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
  • Coaching and Mentoring – You will have a structured onboarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
  • Real Work Experience -Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

 

This position will be onsite in our Milwaukee, WI headquarters  

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and audit sales, customer, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights.
  • Support the development and maintenance of sales dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with data cleansing, validation, and data quality initiatives.
  • Utilize AI tools and technologies to automate administrative and analytical processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes through automation and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Create presentations and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support special projects focused on digital transformation, sales effectiveness, and operational excellence.
  • Document processes, automation solutions, and best practices for future scalability.

Qualifications/Requirments

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, or workflow automation tools preferred.
  • Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
