About the Role

Role description

As an intern within the Developer Platform team, you may contribute to different types of initiatives related to agentic AI, automation, development platforms, and the improvement of software engineering practices, depending on current priorities and the squad you are assigned to. The specific mandate will be confirmed later, but may include:

  • Contribute to the exploration, prototyping, or integration of agentic AI solutions that support developers in their day-to-day activities, such as understanding code, automating tasks, analyzing pipelines, or helping resolve issues.
  • Participate in improving the developer experience by simplifying the practices, tools, and processes used daily by software teams.
  • Contribute to intelligent engineering initiatives, including collecting, analyzing, or visualizing data to better understand engineering performance and identify opportunities for AI-assisted support.
  • Help automate recurring operational processes to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and accelerate platform adoption at scale.
  • Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, or secure delivery mechanisms that may integrate AI-assisted analysis, recommendation, or automation capabilities.
  • Participate in work related to development, integration, deployment, or operations platforms, including cloud, containerized, or automated environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to understand team needs and propose practical improvements.
  • Explore and prototype solutions that improve the productivity, quality, security, visibility, or actionability of software development teams.

Candidate profile

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about technology and automation.
  • Curious, with an interest in learning and experimenting.
  • Proactive, able to take initiative.
  • Strong in problem-solving, with a logical and creative approach.

Desired technical skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Previous hands-on exposure to software development concepts and at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, C#, Java, TypeScript, PowerShell, or Bash, through coursework, labs, personal projects, or internships.
  • Basic practical experience with CI/CD, DevOps, software development platforms, or collaborative development tools such as Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
  • Some exposure to automation, scripting, integrations, APIs, or operational improvements that reduce manual work and improve developer productivity.
  • Exposure to cloud, container, or infrastructure concepts through coursework, labs, personal projects, or previous internships.
  • Familiarity, even at an introductory level, with technologies such as Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Copilot, Azure, Artifactory, ArgoCD, or similar platform engineering tools.
  • Basic awareness or prior exposure to AI-assisted software development, software quality, cybersecurity, and modern platform engineering practices.
