Job Purpose

The Project Management Co-Op is a hands-on development opportunity designed for students pursuing careers in construction and project management. Working alongside experienced project leaders, you will gain exposure to all phases of the construction project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, procurement, project controls, financial tracking, field operations, and customer engagement. Based out of one of our five office locations, you'll gain broad exposure to our operations and project teams. Through mentorship, training, and progressively increasing responsibilities, you'll build the skills needed to grow into future Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.


What You'll Do

  • Support project teams with document management, project records, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Create and maintain project tracking tools, logs, schedules, and reports to help monitor project progress.
  • Attend project meetings, record meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution activities.
  • Participate in jobsite visits to gain firsthand experience with construction operations and field processes.
  • Support project budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking, and financial reporting activities.
  • Monitor project performance and help identify potential risks, schedule impacts, and project constraints.
  • Build professional relationships with customers and project stakeholders while developing strong communication skills.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency and enhancing project outcomes.

What You'll Bring


Required qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time during the designated co-op term.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous construction industry experience
  • One or more years of work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

This position offers flexibility to work from one of our five office locations, providing opportunities to collaborate with different project teams and gain exposure to a variety of projects and customers.

Program Duration

Co-op assignments are typically 5-6 months in duration and are scheduled in alignment with participating universities' cooperative education programs and academic calendars. Start dates may vary based on university program requirements.
