About the Role

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to begin the admissions process early!

The Student Engagement department leads FEE's student-facing events. Through a mix of in-person and virtual programs, FEE partners with schools, educators, and organizations to introduce students to the principles of a free society, fostering deeper understanding and thoughtful discussions. From outreach and relationship-building to event logistics and execution, the Student Engagement team works to create engaging, high-impact experiences that challenge and inspire the next generation. Domestically, FEE's programs have reached students in nearly all 50 states. Internationally, FEE has a growing footprint in Latin America.

 

About FEE in the Classroom International

FEE in the Classroom International brings FEE's educational programs to students and educators in Latin America. Working with schools, educational institutions, and local partners, the program delivers workshops and seminars in Spanish that introduce young people to the ideas of a free society.

 

About the Role

The Logistics Intern will support FEE in the Classroom International, helping create and execute immersive, fun, and educational programs for Spanish-speaking students ages 11 to 26 and the educators and partners who serve them. This is an opportunity for the ideal candidate to combine a love for the ideas of a free society with a passion for designing and implementing extraordinary experiences across Latin America.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee virtual and in-person program logistics for FEE in the Classroom International, such as the seminar schedule, curriculum, speaker selection, online platform registration, day-of logistics, invoices, etc.
  • Handle logistics including, but not limited to, creating logistics packets, landing and registration pages, Zoom links, calendar invites, etc.
  • Communicate with Spanish-speaking partners, educators, and participants to coordinate program details.
  • Maintain accurate reporting in Salesforce.
  • Work closely with Andrea Martinez, Senior Programs Associate and Outreach team, on new projects, ideas, and initiatives.
  • Track and report relevant KPIs (key performance indicators).


Skills:
  • Business, Economics, Project Management, or other related majors desired, but not required.
  • Basic Spanish proficiency required (able to read and write simple emails and hold basic conversations); intermediate or advanced level is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping everything on track and maintaining careful attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit to improve existing programs.
  • A collaborative personality; unafraid of challenge.
  • An unwavering commitment to the mission and principles of FEE.

$5,500 - $7,500 a year
Stand Together Fellowships pays participants a stipend of either $7,500 for full-time participants working approximately 32 hours per week at the partner organization, or $5,500 for part-time participants working approximately 24 hours per week at the partner organization. Attending the entirety of the online and on-site KIP programming is required for both full and part-time participants.
