About the Role
Are you looking for a dynamic, professional internship or entry-level job that goes beyond basic administrative work? Join our Guest Services team and play a vital role in creating memorable Outer Banks vacations! This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in hospitality, sales, customer relationship management, and real estate support. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced environment, making a real impact on our day-to-day operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Hospitality & Sales: Become a vacation expert! You'll guide guests or leads via phone, SMS, email, and in-person to find and book their ideal beach home, using property search tools and your growing knowledge of our homes and the area.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Serve as a communication hub. You'll actively listen to guests' specific needs, troubleshoot reservation issues, answer questions about our policies and our area.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build professional relationships with other departments like Maintenance and Housekeeping to resolve guest requests efficiently, and see how a major business operates from the inside.
  • Business Acumen: Look for opportunities to increase bookings, repeat guest loyalty, and recommend value-added services. You'll gain practical experience in upselling, negotiation, and handling payments.
  • Field Work & Property Management Insight: Get out of the office! Conduct home tours, arrival deliveries and other fieldwork, giving you a valuable look into property management operations.
  • Tech & Data Management: Become proficient with industry-standard software (e.g., Salesforce CRM, SMS, and Genesys call center platforms).

What We're Looking For:

  • Exceptional Communication: Stellar written and verbal skills with the ability to think quickly and stay professional under pressure.
  • Organizational Mastery: Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Professional & Adaptable: A polished, professional demeanor in all interactions, with the flexibility to work as part of a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning new software quickly. Experience with platforms like Google Workspace, CRM systems, or call center software is a huge plus!

Why This Role Is Great For College Students:

  • Real-World Experience: Gain hands-on, marketable experience in hospitality, sales, customer relations, and field operations.
  • Career Alignment: This is an ideal role if you are currently pursuing a degree or have recently graduated in fields like Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Real Estate.
  • Build Your Network: Work closely with supervisors and professionals, building valuable contacts for your future career.
  • A Path Beyond the Season: Eligible strong performers may be offered a full-time position or a remote work opportunity once the season ends.

Who Should Apply:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated. All majors are welcome!

  • Strong interest in property management, hospitality, real estate sales, or business operations.
