About the Role
Tired of desk jobs? Looking for an active summer role where you learn valuable, real-world repair and maintenance skills? Join our Field Services team as a front-line technician. You'll gain practical experience in property diagnostics, repair, and customer service.

This internship is ideal for mechanically inclined students who enjoy working with their hands and want to learn how to manage technical issues in a professional setting.

What You'll Be Doing: You will be an independent, mobile problem-solver responsible for ensuring our properties are in top condition:

  • Expert Diagnostics & Repair: Act as the expert in the field, responding promptly to work orders. Your primary job will be to diagnose maintenance issues, perform diagnostic tests, and execute a variety of general repairs across properties.
  • Efficient Task Management: Work directly with the Dispatcher to manage a daily route of assignments. You'll be relied upon to complete all work orders and field tasks in a professional, high-quality, and timely manner.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance to keep homes running smoothly and minimize future issues.
  • Tool & Equipment Proficiency: Use and become proficient with a wide variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic devices, and material handling equipment necessary to complete your duties.
  • Operational Responsibility: Take ownership of your assigned service vehicle (if applicable), ensuring it is stocked, clean, and well-maintained. You must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record at all times to perform daily duties.
