About the Role

Join Oceaneering International, Inc. as an IT SCM Business Analyst Intern – IT in the Corporate IT SCM Applications department in Houston. This paid summer program (late May to early August) offers hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion and other enterprise applications that power supply chain and workshop operations. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to create reports, troubleshoot issues, support archiving projects, and help deploy and maintain devices such as barcode scanners, mobile tablets, and printers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑line application support and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion and related systems.
  • Assist with data archiving initiatives and ensure compliance with retention policies.
  • Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of barcode scanners, mobile devices, tablets, and printers.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements in partnership with functional teams.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for supply chain and workshop processes.
  • Participate in testing and validation of system enhancements and new features.
  • Document support procedures, configuration settings, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain clear communication of project status and issues to supervisors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Analytic skills, Mobile Devices (Android/Apple)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • No relocation or housing assistance is being offered 
  • Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar, programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby
