Role Overview

The Associate, Graphic Design position supports the development and production of creative materials for digital and print platforms. Working closely with the Graphic Designer and internal partners, this role helps execute projects that align with Mitsubishi Power’s visual identity and brand standards while supporting photography and visual content needs across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate our core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self and others, and ownership.
  • Assist with the design and production of materials for print and digital platforms, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, event graphics, social media content, email communications, signage, and internal communications.
  • Work closely with the Graphic Designer to develop creative concepts and execute projects that align with Mitsubishi Power’s visual identity and brand standards.
  • Support photography needs for corporate events, employee activities, facilities, products, and marketing initiatives.
  • Edit, retouch, resize, color-correct, and organize photographs for use across print and digital communications.
  • Apply graphic design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy, to produce clear, consistent, high-quality work.
  • Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain organized creative files and assets.
  • Receive and apply constructive feedback while contributing independently and collaboratively within the creative team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects or similar software is a plus.
  • Experience with photography, including camera operation, lighting, composition, image selection, and editing.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Creative thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to receive constructive feedback and apply it effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
