About the Role

About the Role:

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer Intern, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge software development and real-world client challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy customized software solutions that directly impact client operations and business outcomes. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, where you will engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into scalable technical implementations. Throughout your internship, you will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and iteration. Ultimately, your contributions will help drive innovation and deliver tangible value to clients while honing your engineering and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Exposure to client-facing roles or experience working directly with customers.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Prior internship or project experience involving real-world software deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop software solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather feedback, understand challenges, and iterate on software features accordingly.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Deploy and monitor software applications in production environments, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
