Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Schedule: Full-time/Part-time - 20 Hours per week minimum

Salary Range: $18 - $22 per hour; DOE


Position Overview

Strategy Financial Group is looking for a Marketing Technology & AI Intern who is curious, tech-savvy, analytical, and excited about how AI is changing marketing.

This is not a traditional marketing internship focused on administrative work. You'll gain hands-on experience with AI, marketing technology, automation, analytics, digital marketing, and real business challenges while working directly with our marketing team.


What You'll Do

  * Research, test, and implement AI tools that improve marketing productivity and performance.

  * Build prompts, AI workflows, automations, and reusable resources for the marketing team.

  * Identify manual or inefficient processes that could be improved with technology.

  * Assist with our CRM, marketing automation, lead generation, and analytics platforms.

  * Help create dashboards, reports, and marketing performance insights.

  * Support digital marketing initiatives across email, social, website, SEO/AEO, video, and paid media.

  * Research emerging AI, marketing technologies, competitors, and industry trends.

  * Work directly with the CMO on special projects and new marketing experiments.

  * Document successful processes, workflows, and technology use cases.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  * Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, business, analytics, communications, or a related field.

  * Strong interest in AI, technology, automation, data, and marketing.

  * Experience experimenting with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar AI platforms.

  * Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets and working with data.

  * Able to learn new technology quickly and independently.

  * Strong problem-solving, research, and critical-thinking skills.

  * Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and quality.

  * Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to experiment.


Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation, Zapier/Make, APIs, Python/SQL, analytics platforms, SEO tools, or AI agents is a plus - but not required.
