Power / Electrical Engineering Intern – Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Power / Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in power systems and facility-related electrical engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines

•Basic knowledge of electrical power systems, substations, or industrial electrical facilities is a plus

•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage

•Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

•Assist engineers with power system analysis, documentation, and data collection

•Support daily activities related to electrical facilities, substations, or utility systems

•Participate in engineering reviews, site inspections, and improvement projects

•Help prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations

•Demonstrates strong interest in long-term career development at Micron

•Aspires to grow into a full-time electrical or power engineer after graduation

•Ability to leverage AI to enhance personal productivity and independently identify AI use cases.

•Work Location: Must be willing to work in the Tongluo (Miaoli) or Houli (Taichung) areas to support future plant construction needs, and potentially provide support at other Micron sites.

4.Drive implementation of AI-based reporting, data analysis, risk assessment, and construction management solutions.
