About The Company
Everyone knows the Y as a place to camp, swim, or exercise, but we’re so much more. A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we’re working side-by-side with our neighbors to address critical community needs that help kids develop into smart, resilient adults, for people to improve their health and build a sense of community, and for our most vulnerable young people to get the care and support they need. Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. With that and our cause of strengthening community, we're here to make coastal Virginia and northeastern North Carolina a better place to live.
About the Role

Description

OUR CULTURE

Our mission and core values are brought to life by our culture. At the Y, we strive to live our cause of strengthening communities with purpose and intentionality every day.

We are welcoming — open to all and a place where you can belong and become.

We are genuine — we value you and embrace your individuality.

We are hopeful — we believe in your potential to make a difference.

We are nurturing — we support your journey to develop your full potential.

We are determined — we relentlessly pursue a stronger community, beginning with you.

Our culture is not a People & Culture initiative; it is how we lead, serve, develop talent, make decisions and deliver on the YMCA's mission.
