About the Role

Description

• Assist the Software Test team in daily software and associated hardware verification activities across the entire software development lifecycle, including testing of merge requests and formal verification and validation (V&V)

• Help building automation test suite

• Through testing, discover product defects and work to reproduce failure modes

• Communicate test results to the larger R&D team

• Participate in the development of scripts for automation of testing & data analysis

• Assist in additional R&D activities as needed


Requirements

EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:   


• Prior work experience in Python, C++ or any scripting languages and basics of software testing

• Basic understanding of Machine Learning 

• Good documentation skills and knowledge of why it is important

• Ability to analyze, understand and communicate technical information

• Organization and attention to detail 

• Adept at managing multiple tasks, prioritization and working with others

• An innate desire to understand how things work, as well as how they may fail

• Interest in medical devices, bioimaging and software design



EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  


Rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in software engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or a related technical area.
