Position Summary:
The Bimbo Bakeries USA DSDE Summer Internship Program will offer real-world exposure into all areas of the Supply Chain to experience the bakery business end-to-end. The student will work in the bakeries, distribution center, sales centers, and work in the market with Routes Sales Professionals, Large Format Sales Professionals, Market Sales Leaders, and Account Executives.

Student will be exposed to a variety of functional areas of the business and will also have the chance to connect with leaders in the organization for learning and development opportunities. At the conclusion of the program, the student will report out to the Sr VP of Sales on key learnings and observations in the business.

Salary Range: $19-21/ hour

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include supporting the DSDE Team with planning and scheduling associated with Project 1800 route expansions and training throughout the West.
  • Provide support to the Senior Director of Sales DSDE.
  • Consistent collaboration with cross functional teams such as sales, finance, marketing and planning.
  • Gain experience with business applications and tools such as Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Provide support and coordinate a variety of on-going projects.

Education and Work History:
  • Candidate should be currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous Co-op or intern experience is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule available, however, must be willing to work at minimum 40 hours / week.
