Founded in 1989 in Cambridge, MA, Vertex today has research and development sites and commercial offices around the world in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) is a multidisciplinary group within Vertex.  DMPK plays a critical role in the prediction of human pharmacokinetic profiles in order to determine whether candidate molecules are suitable to progress to clinical development.  DMPK provides support from early discovery to late-development programs.
