Work Arrangement: Onsite

Work Term: Winter 2027; 4 Months (Jan. 2027 - Apr. 2027) 

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $21.80 - $27.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed.

Join Our Team as a Business Analyst – Program Support (Co-op)!

The Business Analyst – Program Support (Co-op) will support the HR Program & Projects team with reporting, project, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, HR programs, reporting, and project-based work in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Program & Projects team with developing and implementing solutions that improve HR programs reporting and business processes.
  • Support HR programs and project initiatives through coordination, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with reporting, analytics, and the preparation of presentations and other business materials.
  • Contribute to data quality through validation and cleansing activities.
  • Manage version control and maintain system documentation for business software.
  • Ensure efficient file organization and oversee critical document maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and system requirements.
  • Assist in software testing and report issues for prompt resolution.
  • Uphold documentation compliance with business requirements and internal policies.

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Post-secondary student enrolled in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with data, reporting, process improvement, or project-based initiatives.
  • Experience with Power BI, data visualization tools, or similar reporting platforms is considered an asset.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Effort:

Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.

Work Environment:

Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events).
