About The Company
We're an independent strategy and design agency that partners with visionary leaders to solve what others can't — the challenges that are too complex, too ambitious, and too high-stakes for their current partners. Our clients include Nike, P&G, Google, Microsoft, GE Healthcare, and Schneider Electric. One team of storytellers, creators, strategists, and engineers — grown through 40 years of evolution and strategic acquisitions, delivering across brand building, performance marketing, immersive experiences, interactive digital content, UX, media design, and software development. No silos. No bureaucracy. Senior access and real speed on work that has to perform. AI is exposing which agencies can't keep up. We're built for what's next. What we deliver → Brand Strategy & Identity — sharpening positioning and building the systems that make everything else perform → Brand Activation & Growth — integrated campaigns, content, and performance marketing that connects brand to measurable results → Immersive Brand Experiences — physical and digital brand destinations that change how people see a brand → Corporate Innovation — new product and service concepts, prototyping, consumer research, and business model design → Technology & Production — software engineering, AI & ML, AR/VR, and media systems architecture Cincinnati · Salt Lake City · Brooklyn · Portland
About the Role

Company Description

Hyperquake is an independent creative strategy, branding, and experience design marketing agency founded in 1986, with locations in Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, and Brooklyn. We specialize in strategic innovation, branded experiences, and scaling organizations for growth, working with companies ranging from small startups to global enterprises. Hyperquake builds ambitious brands and experiences for those eager to activate a vision.

Position Overview:

We're looking for an intern who's curious about how social media drives real business growth. You'll join our team as a working contributor, not a spectator, helping manage social channels for Hyperquake clients and shaping the strategy behind them. Social will be your home base, but you'll also have room to explore other marketing channels, branding, and messaging work as you grow.

Primary Responsibilities:

●    Help manage social media accounts for Hyperquake clients
●    Own social content calendars, primarily posting and scheduling content, making sure all posts are deployed on-time, with the highest quality assurance
●    Lead day-to-day community management, engaging with audiences in a way that reflects each client's voice
●    Report on qualitative and quantitative social community insights
●    Contribute to overall social media marketing strategy and tactical plans
●    Support social content and messaging strategy, including measurement, reporting, and ongoing optimization
●    Assist with content and calendar planning
●    Take part in concept development and brainstorming sessions
●    Collaborate across teams, working with designers, subject matter experts, marketing channel leads, and client leadership to deliver great work on time
●    Flex into other channels, branding, and messaging projects as opportunities come up

Experience You Will Bring:

●    Genuinely interested in growth and performance marketing, and curious about what makes content perform
●    Fluent in the major social platforms, with a sense for what works on each one and experienced in managing social accounts for a club, organization or business
●    A clear, thoughtful writer who can adapt tone for different brands and audiences
●    Highly organized, detail oriented and dependable
●    Skilled communicator, able to integrate into many teams, platforms, and processes
●    Comfortable juggling multiple clients, calendars, and deadlines
●    Collaborative and open to feedback, with the confidence to share your own ideas
●    Familiarity with social scheduling or analytics tools (such as [Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite])
●    Basic design or video editing skills (such as Canva, Adobe Express, or CapCut)
