About the Role

Granger is seeking a People Development Intern to support employee learning, career development, performance management, and organizational improvement initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating development resources, improving employee programs, and supporting projects that impact team members across the organization.
 
This role is ideal for a student interested in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Learning & Development.
 
Ideal Internship Timeline 
 
This internship is designed as an extended development opportunity.
 
  • Begin in a part-time capacity in November 2026 (schedule based on academic availability)
  • Continue working part-time throughout the Spring 2027 semester
  • Transition into a full-time Summer 2027 internship as a part of Granger's Summer Internship Program 
  • Gain increasing levels of responsibility and ownership throughout the experience
  • Have the opportunity to lead or contribute to a meaningful summer project that creates lasting impact for employees and the organization
 
What You'll Do
 
Learning & Development
  • Coordinate filming schedules with department leaders for New Hire Orientation (NHO) content
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of onboarding and training resources
  • Edit and produce employee learning videos using ClipChamp
  • Organize and maintain a centralized library of training content

Organizational Development
  • Assist with creating visually engaging career path resources
  • Support employee development initiatives and programs
  • Help improve tools and resources that support employee growth and performance

Performance Management Support
  • Create video tutorials and job aids for Granger's performance management program (PULSE)
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of performance reporting materials
  • Support communication and adoption of employee development resources

Employee Communications
  • Help develop content for the monthly People Development newsletter
  • Create graphics, stories, and informational content that support employee growth and engagement

Special Projects
  • Support process documentation and improvement efforts
  • Assist with HR and organizational audits
  • Organize and maintain employee development resources and records
  • Contribute to department projects that improve the employee experience

What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and presentation
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
  • Video editing software (ClipChamp, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
  • Presentation design
  • Newsletter or content creation
  • Graphic design tools
