What You Will Do

• Conduct studies and apply Lean principles to optimize cost control, inventory management, and process efficiency.
• Design, develop, and improve workflows, station loading, line balancing, and production layouts.
• Create and update routings, labor standards, manufacturing standard work, and the ERP system.
• Develop tools, fixtures, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality and reliability.
• Optimize production floor layouts for equipment utilization, process flow, and operator efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs).

 

Qualifications You Must Have

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship.

 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
