About the Role

About this Position

Support packaging development projects from concept phase to market launch and assist in the design, evaluation and optimization of packaging components, including bottles, tubes, closures, labels and folding boxes.

What you´ll do

  • Conduct packaging research, benchmarking and supplier evaluations
  • Prepare and coordinate laboratory, packaging and production line trials
  • Analyze test results and support the assessment of packaging performance, quality and consumer usability
  • Participate in sustainability initiatives, including recyclability improvements, PCR implementation and material reduction projects
  • Support the preparation of technical documentation, packaging specifications and master data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Purchasing
  • Create presentations, reports and project updates for internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to innovation projects involving new materials, technologies and packaging concepts

What makes you a good fit

  • Enrolled university student in packaging technology, mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, industrial design or a related field
  • Strong interest in packaging development, sustainability and consumer products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills in English language, German language is a plus
  • Analytical mindset and hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Availability as of January 2027 for six months

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1.050-2.270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
