The Nestlé Product Technology Center for Coffee is a global center of expertise for coffee and beverage innovation. Our teams in Konolfingen, Orbe, Singapore and Marysville lead coffee and beverage research and development for Nestlé markets worldwide.

As a R&D Data Science Intern, you will contribute to innovative projects across various Nestlé research and development facilities. Collaborating with Nestlé experts, you will help design the research tools of the future, contributing to advancements in data science and technology. How you’ll make an impact as a R&D Data Science Intern

  • Developing digital tools that enable researchers and product developers to work more effectively.
  • Building computer vision models that characterize products and extract valuable information.
  • Creating reliable data pipelines that turn experimental data into usable insights.
  • Delivering automated reports and clear dashboards that support evidence-based decisions.
  • Documenting reusable code and sharing your solutions with colleagues across research and development teams.


What will make you successful

  • Current student or fresh graduate in Data Science, Computer Science or a related field
  • Bringing strong programming skills in Python or R and the ability to build clear, maintainable solution
  • Applying knowledge of data science, machine learning, computer vision and cloud-based application development.
  • Being proactive, resourceful and curious, with the autonomy to solve problems and the openness to collaborate.
  • Fluency in English, French would be an asset.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value.
