About the Role

YellowSquare is looking for an Intern in Technical Operations & Compliance Intern

Are you prepared to immerse yourself in the dynamic and rapidly evolving hospitality sector? At YellowSquare, we transcend the traditional concept of accommodation; we are a thriving nexus for digital nomads, a platform for local artists, and a global community for modern travelers.

If you possess a keen eye for detail, an innate aptitude for organization, and a genuine eagerness to learn, we invite you to join our team at the YellowSquare Headquarters in Rome. Are you highly proficient with technical documentation and floor plans, and driven to ensure seamless backend operations? If you are seeking an international arena to launch a long-term career in hospitality management, this tirocinio is your ideal starting point.

YellowSquare is currently recruiting an ambitious profile for our Operations department. We seek beyond mere precision; we value proactive methodologies and strategic thinking. You will be an instrumental contributor in structuring document management, overseeing regulatory compliance, and upholding our network's rigorous standards, thereby providing crucial support to the operational team in navigating daily complexities.

Why join us:

  • Mentorship & Training: Continuous shadowing alongside the Operations Management team to grasp the intricate dynamics of facility administration and compliance within a highly structured hospitality enterprise.
  • Professional Advancement: A tangible opportunity to acquire hands-on expertise, direct fundamental processes, and witness the immediate impact of your contributions on our corporate efficiency.
  • Dynamic Headquarters Environment: Operate directly from our vibrant Headquarter offices in the heart of Rome, thriving in an international and inclusive corporate culture where high professional standards harmonize with collaborative synergy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Contractual Administration & Archival: Systematically cataloging, digitizing, and diligently monitoring critical deadlines (renewals, cancellation clauses) pertaining to utilities, maintenance agreements, and operational supplies.
  • Procurement Oversight & Quality Assurance: Continually refining the vendor roster and rigorously validating that all acquisitions and equipment adhere strictly to YellowSquare’s operational criteria, mitigating any unauthorized deviations.
  • Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Assisting in the meticulous tracking of workplace safety mandates (D.Lgs. 81/08) and municipal hospitality regulations to ensure comprehensive institutional compliance.
  • Technical Documentation Management: Auditing building permits, SCIA declarations, and system certifications, as well as facilitating the interpretation and minor modification of architectural layouts and floor plans utilizing CAD software.
  • Operational Synergy: Fostering continuous alignment with facility managers, certified technicians, and external consultants to efficiently aggregate updated compliance records and operational certifications.

What we are looking for:

  • Academic Qualifications: Technical High School Diploma (Diploma di Geometra, Perito Industriale, or equivalent technical accreditation).
  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in CAD software (tailored for interpreting, verifying, and executing foundational edits on floor plans), coupled with the ability to critically review tender specifications, cadastral surveys, and intricate building documentation.
  • Digital Fluency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel (imperative for robust data and deadline management) and the Google Workspace ecosystem.
  • Linguistic Capabilities: Professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal) alongside an excellent command of the Italian language.
  • Professional Demeanor: Exceptional meticulousness, a steadfast commitment to organizational protocols and tight deadlines, fortified by a resilient, solution-oriented mindset.

What we offer:

  • Contract: 6-month Extracurricular Internship, specifically structured and aimed at permanent employment upon successful completion.
  • Compensation: €800 monthly
  • Benefits: €8 daily meal vouchers, exclusive corporate partnerships, comprehensive employee discounts across all YellowSquare properties, and privileged access to a deeply stimulating professional hub.

This stage is tailored for a highly analytical and structured professional aspiring to become the driving force behind operational excellence at our Headquarters. If you are prepared to contribute your expertise to the Square, we look forward to discovering your potential.
