As an intern in our Polymer Physics Laboratory, you will contribute to cutting-edge local R&D initiatives that drive technological advancement and create a better tomorrow. Major Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company and laboratory safety regulations.
  • Carry out Finite Element Analysis using COMSOL Multiphysics software to help understand product & application related mechanisms.
  • Evaluate mechanics performance using specialized equipment according to established test protocols.
  • Utilize equipment software and tools (e.g., Excel, Origin) for data recording and organization.
  • Maintain timely communication regarding equipment issues, testing techniques, and safety-related matters.

What You Offer

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
  • Strong academic performance with solid foundation in polymer physics or materials characterization
  • Time Commitment:
    • Minimum: 50 full working days (4 months, minimum 3 days per week, at least 16 weeks)
    • Preferred: 75 full working days (6 months, minimum 3 days per week, total 24 weeks)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous laboratory or research experience
  • Familiarity with numerical simulations and polymer testing methods and analytical techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus
