About the KMS Back2School Scholarship 2026

The KMS Back2School Scholarship is an annual initiative dedicated to nurturing and empowering talented IT students across Vietnam. Now in its 7th year, the 2026 program awards 20 scholarships, each valued at 5,000,000 VND, along with professional development opportunities to help students embark on their future tech careers.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate IT program at a university in Vietnam
  • Be in their 3rd year, 4th year, or final year of study, and not yet graduated
  • Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 8.0/10 or 3.0/4.0
  • Have upper-intermediate English proficiency (TOEIC: from 750 / IELTS: from 5.5 / TOEFL iBT: from 72, or equivalent), with validity within the last 2 years
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for pursuing a career in technology
  • Be actively involved in community activities

Ineligible applicants:

  • Previous recipients of the KMS Back2School Scholarship
  • Current or former full-time employees or interns at KMS Technology, Katalon, or Visily

Screening criteria:

  • Passion for a tech career 
  • Academic excellence 
  • English proficiency 
  • Community contribution 

Application requirements

All applications must be submitted in English and include:

  • CV outlining your academic background and experience in detail
  • Cover letter answering: "Show us how you are passionate about pursuing a career in tech"
  • A Google Drive link to a folder containing the following supporting documents:
  1. Latest official transcript showing all results from Year 1 to date
  2. English certificate(s)
  3. Proof of your passion for a tech career (e.g., awards, certifications, internship or freelance confirmations, research papers)
  4. Proof of your community contribution (e.g., certificates, confirmation letters, event links, or photos)
