About the Role

As an Intern for Web Development here at Honeywell, you will join one of our most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in feature planning and design sessions.
  • Implement software solutions for frontend and backend development.
  • Assist with test plans, documentation, and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Strong functional programming skills and solid foundations in Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies: JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with backend technologies: Node.js and React.
  • Familiarity with databases including SQL, MongoDB, relational and non-relational databases.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of programming abstraction levels.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Systems Engineering, Software Development, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Passion for learning and working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Interest in cloud-based security solutions and SaaS platforms.
