In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the MOHP, Motion High Power in Saint Laurent, QC.

6 to 8 month internship.

Your Role: Own the Challenge 

• Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
• Utilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

What it takes to run what runs the world 

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s of engineering program.
• French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. 
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Must have a sense of urgency and be able to communicate with customers in emergency situations.
• Good technical knowledge in the project field; an asset.
• Proactive, Result-oriented, Ability in managing several tasks; Flexibility, Tact and diplomacy.
• Abilities to conduct meetings and make presentations.
• AI experience preferably Copilot
• Report generation and automation for different needs
• SAP transactions
• Order entry
• Assisting project managers as required
