About the Role

Join Synapxe as an intern and see how you can contribute in powering a healthier Singapore. Internship@Synapxe is where curiosity meets impact! You would be able to gain practical experience, hone your skills, and be part of meaningful work that improves health through technology! 

 

Join our Infrastructure team and gain hands-on experience in a large-scale private cloud transformation programme supporting the deployment of a new cloud platform and migration of enterprise applications. You will work alongside cloud engineers, platform specialists, and cybersecurity teams to support cloud operations, application migration, and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.

 

The selected intern(s) will assist in the following:

 

1. Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Operations

  • Support private cloud deployment and environment provisioning activities
  • Assist with platform services such as monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and identify optimisation opportunities

 

2. Application Migration

  • Support application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration readiness assessments
  • Assist in developing migration plans, testing procedures, and rollback strategies
  • Participate in application migration and validation activities

 

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Support cybersecurity reviews and compliance activities
  • Assist in audit documentation and evidence collection
  • Participate in operational readiness and governance processes

 

4. Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement

  • Support project reporting, stakeholder coordination, and risk tracking activities
  • Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and process improvement initiatives
  • Develop a capstone project involving automation, dashboards, or operational enhancements

 

About You: 

 

  • Final-year diploma student pursuing Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Infocomm & Security, or related discipline

  • Strong interest in cloud technologies, infrastructure, or enterprise systems

  • Familiarity with networking, virtualisation, or operating systems is advantageous

  • Curious and willing to learn about cloud operations and application migration

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

  • Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
