Poly Internship Mar 2027 to Feb 2028 - Enterprise Applications Operations Intern

Be part of our Finance Systems team and gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications used across Singapore's public healthcare ecosystem. You will work with application, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system reliability, support operational activities, and participate in testing and service improvement initiatives.

The selected intern(s) will assist in the following:

1. Application Operations & Monitoring

• Support application monitoring, system health checks, and operational maintenance activities
• Assist in analysing and troubleshooting system incidents and user-reported issues
• Monitor service dashboards and support operational reporting activities

2. Testing & Change Management

• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities
• Support change management processes, including testing, implementation, and verification
• Assist in documenting defects, fixes, and service improvements

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Support

• Attend to user queries and support day-to-day application operations
• Work with business users, vendors, and internal teams to support issue resolution and system enhancements
• Support coordination activities relating to contracts, renewals, and operational documentation

4. Service Improvement & Project Support

• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve system resilience and operational efficiency
• Participate in infrastructure, security, and application enhancement initiatives
• Contribute to project implementation and operational improvement activities

About You: 

• Final-year diploma student pursuing Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
• Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and application testing processes
• Basic understanding of SIT, UAT, and software quality assurance practices
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts, IT operations, or service management processes is advantageous
• Basic understanding of networking, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Self-driven, willing to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
• Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech 

Interns will be required to travel to Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) as part of the role.
