About the Role

Join Synapxe as an intern and see how you can contribute in powering a healthier Singapore. Internship@Synapxe is where curiosity meets impact! You would be able to gain practical experience, hone your skills, and be part of meaningful work that improves health through technology! 

 
Gain hands-on experience in data analytics, automation, and AI within the Control & Performance team. You will develop dashboards, analyse operational data, explore AI use cases, and build automation solutions that improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
 

The selected intern(s) will assist in following:

 

1. Data Analytics & Insights 

  • Analyse data from spreadsheets, SharePoint, and reporting systems to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Support data validation, cleansing, and reporting activities
  • Develop data quality checks to improve reporting accuracy and consistency

 

2. Dashboard Development & Visualisation 

  • Design and enhance interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or other approved tools
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and management reports
  • Gather user feedback and improve dashboard usability

 

3. Automation & Process Improvement 

  • Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation
  • Develop and test workflow automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate or Python
  • Document automation processes and user instructions

 

4. AI & Innovation

  • Explore practical AI use cases for reporting, data validation, information retrieval, and workflow support
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions using approved AI tools
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve business processes using AI technologies

 

5. Testing & Implementation  

  • Support solution testing, issue tracking, and user acceptance activities
  • Prepare documentation, user guides, and final project presentations
 

About You:

 

  • Final-year diploma student pursuing Data Analytics, AI & Data Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and data analysis concepts
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or Power Automate is advantageous
  • Interested in data analytics, automation, AI, and digital transformation
  • Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven
  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
